sms during call

I'm trying to receive an sms OTP during a call to authenticate with my bank. The sms does not arrive during the call and I have to close the call to receive the sms.Is that intended? Otherwise what would be the solution?

I ordered new Jawwy Sim with an order no: 200234183853797 , however it was cancel but i paid for the sim online on 21/02/2019. As on today 04/03/2019 there is still neither any update nor any refund. Please let me know
